Apple historically launches its new iPhone models on Fridays. Last year, it started selling the iPhone 5s and 5c models on Friday (September 20). Similarly, in 2012, the maker launched the iPhone 5 on September 21st, again a Friday. Before that, the iPhone 4S was released a couple weeks down the road October 14th 2011. This year, September 19th does fall on the Friday and within Apple's historic time frame for brand spanking new iPhone launches. However, there's no such announcement from the firm itself, so we'll have likely to hold back for a time to really understand the phone in action over a handset.
